So, who am I?
On a good day, I’m a calm, if somewhat stressed, mother of four
Screecher Creatures or Stretch Mark Makers, take your pick. Although the fourth one gets the blame for
the road map marks on my tummy, even if they are vanishing.
Moving on. On the same good day,
I manage to fit in a bit of exercise with my new VBF Davina, munch my way
through an indecent amount of chocolate and drool over Brax on Home and Away. And on a bad day, let’s face it, every other day, I’m an irrational, totally
stressed, guilt ridden, screaming fishwife mother, to four unfortunate boy
children under 6 years of age. Not even
Brax can fix the pain on these days.
This blog is my attempt at recording the mayhem that is my life with the
intention of reading back over it in my Autumnal years and laughing. Nothing is ever as bad as it seems, right?
Disclaimer: My boys are the best
thing that ever happened to me.
Everything I say should be taken with a liberal pinch of salt.
If you are
of a mind to check out some of my previously published work, I can be found
in "The Irish Caesarean and VBAC Guide" written by Tracy
Donegan or in "The Mammy Diaries" written by Canadian born Cork based writer Maria
Moulton.
